Bus air-conditioning condenser, commonly referred to as a bus air-conditioning radiator, is simply a conventional heat exchanger. Its purpose is to remove heat from the refrigerant flowing from the evaporator located inside the vehicle. The evaporator, in turn, absorbs heat from the air inside the cabin.

The air-conditioning condenser is usually cooled by electric fans or a hydraulic fan.
